  • born in Hanušovice in 1921
  • active scout since 1936
  • after the annexation of the Sudetenland in Vrbátky u Přerova
  • forced labour in the Reich (in Wroclaw) in 1941
  • in 1943 escaped back to the Protectorate
  • end of WWII in France as a driver for UNRRA
  • in 1946 he founds a renewed scout group in Hanušovice
  • arrested in 1949, accused of treason
  • in 1951 sentenced to 20 years
  • imprisoned in Mírov and Uherské Hradiště
  • became a pharmacist in Mírov, participation in the spiritual life of the prisoners
  • released in 1958
  • active in remembering the fates of political prisoners of the 1950's
